Cyberjaya · Building with OpenClaw

I build the software that runs restaurants — solo, with a crew of AI agents.

I'm Arib — technical founder harnessing OpenClaw, a WhatsApp-native operating system for Malaysian F&B SMEs. I design, ship and run the whole stack myself: storefront, delivery, payments and self-hosted AI. The boring parts are automated so the food can stay the point.

The product

OpenClaw is an AI agent operating system — autonomous teammates that ship production work alongside the founder.

One number a customer already texts becomes the front of house, the marketing team and the finance desk. Three agents, one tenant, schema isolated — built so a kopitiam runs like it has a back office it could never afford.

01 / Abu

The concierge

Takes orders, answers customers and remembers regulars — all inside WhatsApp, where Malaysian SMEs already live. No app to download, no new behaviour to teach.

02 / Sofia

The marketer

Turns order history into campaigns: who to win back, what to push, when to send. The store talks to its own customers without a marketing hire.

03 / Encik Tan

The accountant

Watches margin and COGS in real time. Most small kitchens find out they're losing money a month too late — this one flags it the same day.

Architecture: schema-per-tenant Postgres · hybrid cloud + self-hosted inference · WhatsApp Business Cloud API for production.

Ship log

I'd rather show what shipped than describe what I'm good at. A sample — production work, not side projects.

  1. address-intelligence v2.4.6

Google Places autocomplete for Malaysian checkout

Server-side proxy with per-IP rate limiting, coordinate handoff into the delivery payload. Built after tracing a fallback bug back to an empty API key that had been silently degrading geocoding since day one.

  2. lalamove-woo prod E2E

Lalamove courier integration, end to end

v3 API with HMAC signing, vehicle upgrade by order subtotal, peak-aware priority fee from live surcharge signal, escalation ladder and full webhook chain. Verified live: booking → rider accepted → picked up → completed.

  3. ops redundant

Counter order alarm that can't miss

Two independent paths to the front counter — a polling watchdog and a server push — with a distinct failure beep when the API goes dark. Idempotent so a busy lunch never double-alerts.

  4. stalwart-mail recovered

Self-hosted mail server, restored from snapshot

A container rebuild quietly renamed a volume and orphaned live mailboxes. Diagnosed, restored from a database snapshot, and re-verified inbound + outbound through a relay smarthost.

  5. dgx-spark tuned

On-prem inference box, back to full GPU

Local LLM serving for development and product. Tracked a CPU-offload regression to a unified-memory detection bug and pinned the runtime back to 100% GPU utilisation.

  6. openclaw phase 0

    Platform foundations locked

Twelve architecture decision records, schema-per-tenant data model, ingestion pipeline, pitch deck and landing page — the spec a second engineer could pick up tomorrow.

OpenClaw

A WhatsApp-native operating system for F&B SMEs. Three AI agents — concierge, marketer, accountant — over a multi-tenant data platform. The long game: a proprietary view of how Malaysian restaurants actually run.

Self-hosted AI operations

An on-prem inference box and an agent framework that lets one founder delegate real work — building, ops, support — to named agents with hard approval gates. The leverage that makes a one-person company possible.
